Internationally successful Spanish author Paul Pen returns with a disturbing psychological thriller. Elmer and Rose have created a perfect family among the enormous cacti of a remote desert landscape, a home full of love for their five daughters, all with flower names: Edelweiss, Iris, Melissa, Dahlia and Daisy. But the unexpected arrival of Rick, a hiker seeking refuge, shakes up the sisters. And when Elmer and Rose discover that the boy is not who he claims to be, the confrontation they will wage - a struggle between truth and lies, justice and crime - will uncover terrible secrets that will forever change the lives of all of them.
