«La dama del perrito y otros cuentos» is a collection of short stories by Anton Chekhov, published by Orbis in hardcover (252 pages, in Spanish).
The story that gives the volume its title shows how love arises between Anna and Gurov, two people with ordinary, almost boring lives; their encounter, which begins with the appearance of a lady with a little dog on a promenade, transforms their lives without major events.
It is part of Orbis's Historia Universal de la Literatura collection, volume 14, and corresponds to the second edition, published in 1982.
This collection of stories by Anton Chekhov is for readers of classic short fiction and nineteenth-century Russian literature.
Médico, dramaturgo y cuentista ruso de finales del siglo XIX, considerado uno de los grandes maestros del relato corto y renovador del teatro moderno.
