«La dama del perrito y otros cuentos» is a collection of short stories by Anton Chekhov, published by RBA Editores in hardcover (185 pages, in Spanish).
Short stories with ordinary characters and lives marked by routine; in the title story, a man and a woman meet by chance and that episode alters their existence. Chekhov observes human relationships and everyday gestures with irony and closeness, without major events.
Published in 1991, the volume belongs to the Historia de la literatura collection (number 15) and includes the translation from Russian by E. Podgursky and A. Aguilar.
For readers of classic fiction and short stories who want to delve into Chekhov's work.
Médico, dramaturgo y cuentista ruso de finales del siglo XIX, considerado uno de los grandes maestros del relato corto y renovador del teatro moderno.
