«La dona que somiava mariatxis» is a collection of short stories by Assumpta Mercader Solà, published by Voliana Edicions in paperback (116 pages, in Catalan).
The stories in this collection spring from the author's childhood in a large family with a deep-rooted sense of humor. Her grandmother's sayings, the irony learned at home and conversations overheard on the Renfe feed tales that invite readers to view the world with a humorous perspective and to get angry only about what truly matters.
It is part of the Voliac collection from Voliana Edicions (number 29). It is the first edition, published on July 7, 2016.
For readers of short stories in Catalan who appreciate irony, everyday humor and brief tales with a reflective gaze.
