«La espada de los espíritus» is the young adult science fiction novel by John Christopher, published by Alfaguara in paperback (197 pages, in Spanish).
Upon being proclaimed Prince of Winchester, Luke takes on the mission of uniting the cities and recovering the scientific knowledge lost after the Disaster. His impulsiveness and reforms clash with traditions: Petersfield rebels and Luke responds by burning the fields, while the attitude of Blodwen, his betrothed, begins to unsettle him.
It is the third and final installment of John Christopher's The Sword of the Spirits trilogy, which began with El príncipe a la espera and continued with Más allá de las tierras ardientes.
Suitable for young readers and science fiction fans, with a post-apocalyptic world set in a medieval atmosphere.
