«La estrella de la fortuna» is the suspense novel by Carlos Pérez Merinero, published by Cuadernos del Laberinto in paperback (132 pages, in Spanish).
Famous actor Miguel Casares attends the San Sebastián Film Festival for a retrospective of his work, but the superficiality of the scene drives him to flee. There he sees a man kill a woman and hurl her off a cliff; the killer has seen him and pursues him throughout the festival. Fate turns him into the center of a dangerous game.
The work belongs to the Estrella Negra collection. On the cover it reads: «A veces ser testigo de un asesinato no es un problema sino una solución.»
For those who enjoy suspense plots in which a witness becomes the target of a killer.
