«La gran temporada» is a collection of stories by Fernando Quiñones, published by Alianza in paperback (232 pages, in Spanish).
The book brings together fifteen stories that traverse the bullfighting universe and delve into the lives of those who live around the bullfight. Set mostly in the 1950s, these stories show the human reverse of the bullrings, with loneliness and failures, although some escape that pessimistic tone.
The volume was published in 1998 in the El Libro de Bolsillo - Literatura collection of Alianza Editorial, as number 5012.
A book for readers interested in Spanish short fiction and the world of bullfighting.
