«La història dels bonobos amb ulleres» is the picture book by Adela Turin and Nella Bosnia, published by Kalandraka in hardcover (40 pages, in Catalan).
In a small mangrove, some bonobos wearing sunglasses spend the day feeding on fruits, berries, nuts, seeds, roots and shoots. It is the females who gather that food for them and for the young. A children's fable that invites reflection on gender inequality and coeducation.
Original title: «La vera storia dei bonobo con gli occhiali» (1976). It belongs to the collection «Dalla parte delle bambine»; in Spain it was published as «A favor de las niñas» and translated into several languages.
For early readers and for working on coeducation and equality in the classroom or at home.
