Synopsis of La invención de Morel
La invención de Morel es una novela de ciencia ficción del escritor argentino Adolfo Bioy Casares, publicada en 1940. La trama sigue a un fugitivo que llega a una isla aparentemente desierta, donde descubre una extraña comunidad que repite constantemente las mismas acciones. A medida que investiga, descubre que estos seres son proyecciones holográficas creadas por un científico llamado Morel. El protagonista se enamora de una de las proyecciones, Faustine, y decide unirse a la realidad virtual para vivir con ella eternamente. La novela explora temas como la realidad, la percepción, el amor y la inmortalidad, y es considerada una obra maestra de la literatura fantástica y de ciencia ficción en español.
