«La Lisa i el gat sense nom» is the children's story by Käthe Recheis, published by Barcanova in paperback (88 pages, in Catalan).
The protagonist, Lisa, does not have blonde hair, nor curls, nor the angelic face of her sisters. Even so, she has great company: a cat without a name and without an owner that she often finds among the garden bushes.
It belongs to the Sopa de Llibres collection, Sèrie Groga. The Catalan translation is by Anna Matamala Ripoll and the illustrations are by Claudia de Weck. Original title: «Lisa und die Katze ohne Namen».
Suitable for early readers aged 5 to 6, useful for initiating reading in Catalan.
Käthe Recheis was an Austrian children's literature writer. She was the recipient of an Austrian State Prize, an Austrian Decoration for Science and Art, a Kulturpreis des Landes Oberösterreich, and a Heinrich Gleißner Prize.
