«La llegenda de Sant Jordi» is the traditional Catalan legend of anonymous authorship, published by Cruïlla in paperback (16 pages, in Catalan).
A fierce dragon terrorizes a distant land: its inhabitants must give it food every day to keep it at peace. When no provisions or animals remain, they begin to draw lots among people to calm the beast, and bad luck falls on the king's daughter. The arrival of Sant Jordi will change the fate of the princess and the people.
It belongs to the «Vull llegir!» collection, with texts adapted for early readers, illustrations by Pau Estrada, and capital letters.
Recommended for children aged 3 and up, especially for those beginning to read in Catalan.
