La mujer celta: mito y sociología

Synopsis of La mujer celta: mito y sociología

What is hidden behind the peculiar image of the Celtic woman? Did anything of her survive through the centuries? Jean Markale seeks answers through that feminine figure that seems to hide among myths and legends. A 'swallowed Princess', dark and silenced in the eyes of progress by a paternalistic world that dimmed her brightness. Heir, in some way, to an ancient sun-woman whose features are still visible in the legend of Isolde, who would give her loving light to Tristan; or in the 'Maiden of the Grail', bearer of the salvific cup. A woman who does not resign herself and whose image sparkles from the depths of our being.
