«La pensione Eva» is the novel by Andrea Camilleri published by Mondadori in paperback (188 pages, in Italian).
In the Sicily of the 1930s and 1940s, the young Nenè, Ciccio and Jacolino grow up around the Pensione Eva, a recently renovated brothel in Vigàta. What begins as sexual curiosity becomes a sentimental education marked by love, amid unexpected appearances and the provincial life of the era.
