«La preuve par l'âme» is François de Witt's essay on the immortality of the soul, published by Guy Trédaniel Editions in paperback (296 pages, in French).

François de Witt presents an investigation spanning psychology, the study of the paranormal, epigenetics, astrophysics and quantum mechanics, alongside the intuitions of philosophers and mystics, to argue that the soul exists before our birth and continues after physical death. According to the author, the soul expresses itself through the heart and can communicate with the living, with a universal message of love: our existence has a purpose.

Subtitled «Un polytechnicien démontre notre immortalité», the book was published in 2015. The author, a former student of the École Polytechnique and Sciences Po, worked as an economic journalist for decades.
