«La strategia dell'acqua» is the mystery novel by Lorenzo Silva, published by Guanda in paperback (348 pages, in Italian).
Óscar Santacruz is found dead in the elevator of his Madrid home with two gunshot wounds. Brigadier Rubén Bevilacqua and Sergeant Virginia Chamorro investigate the victim's ordinary life: a complicated divorce, a conviction for drug trafficking, a complaint of abuse, and the case touches on the rights of separated parents and the contradictions of the judicial system.
The novel is the sixth installment of the «Bevilacqua and Chamorro» series, translated into Italian by Silvia Sichel; the original Spanish title is «La estrategia del agua».
For readers of Italian who enjoy crime fiction with a social background and for followers of the Bevilacqua and Chamorro series.
