«La tortuga poruga i la seva amiga eruga» is the children's story by Carles Sala Vila, published by Barcanova in paperback (64 pages, in Catalan).
A very timid tortoise hides her head under her shell to avoid seeing the world, and so she misses the daisies, the fish in the stream and the forest animals. One day she befriends a small green caterpillar who shows her how beautiful everything around her is, and maybe she'll get her to dare to peek out.
With illustrations by Marta Montañà. Belongs to the Sopa de Llibres collection, Groga series, with recommended reading from age 6.
For early readers who are starting to read alone, and also for shared reading in the classroom.
