«La tour de Babel» is the children's story written by Francine Vidal and illustrated by Elodie Nouhen, published by Didier Jeunesse in paperback (32 pages, in French).
The story offers a retelling of the biblical account of the Tower of Babel from Genesis: it does not limit itself to the divine punishment of human pride, but explains the origin of the multiplicity of languages. Francine Vidal narrates in a close tone and Elodie Nouhen provides stylized illustrations.
The album, published on May 16, 2007, measures 34 x 22.5 centimeters.
Aimed at children aged 3 and up, it is a gateway to biblical stories and the diversity of languages.
