«La última caravana» is the contemporary fiction novel by Raúl Argemí, published by Edebé in hardcover (304 pages, in Spanish).
Laura looks for Roque Pérez in a Patagonian nursing home to find out about her absent father. Roque tells her about the founding of a political party during the Argentine crisis and a bank robbery involving ex-convicts, prostitutes, choir singers and retirees. Laura cannot always distinguish fantasy from reality in the legend of a march: the last caravan.
The first edition was published in Spain on October 24, 2008, with ISBN 9788423692842.
The novel is suitable for emerging adult readers and for young people aged 14 and over, due to its blend of reality and legend.
