«Ladies' Night at Finbar's Hotel» is the collaborative novel by Dermot Bolger with seven Irish women writers, published by Picador in hardcover (257 pages, in English).
Eight authors, coordinated by Dermot Bolger, each write a chapter of this choral novel set in Dublin's Finbar's Hotel, reopened after a renovation that makes it a symbol of contemporary Ireland. The protagonists return to the city of their youth and face encounters with their past: a former employee seeks the son she gave up for adoption, a faded star sees her luck turn, and a nun faces an unexpected mission.
Successor to the collaborative novel «Finbar's Hotel», though none of the chapter authorship is indicated in the book.
Dermot Bolger is an Irish novelist, playwright, poet and editor from Dublin, Ireland.
