«L'Angus, pintallavis i morrejades» is the young adult novel by Louise Rennison, published by Editorial Empúries in paperback (208 pages, in Catalan).
A vitalist diary of Georgia Nicolson, a British teenager who humorously recounts her everyday messes: the disaster with her wild Scottish cat Angus, friendship troubles, untimely spots, and her clumsy approaches to first love. A succession of absurd situations, told in the first person, that turn her confessions into a comic mirror of teenage life.
First installment of the «Confessions of Georgia Nicolson» series, adapted into Catalan by Bel Olid and published in 2001. Original title: «Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging».
Recommended for young readers looking for a fun and relatable view of the contradictions of adolescence.
