«L'Annamite» is the autobiography of Dany Carrel, published by Robert Laffont in 1991, in paperback (357 pages, in French).
In this book, Dany Carrel recounts her childhood in Indochina and the wound of never having known her Vietnamese mother, Kam, after being orphaned by her father at the age of three. The nickname that gives the work its title, used at the time to designate the Vietnamese, marked her dual origin and her search for identity.
Work published in the Vécu collection by Robert Laffont. Includes the collaboration of Marie-José Jaubert.
