«L'arca dels animals» is the children's picture book by Marianne Dubuc, published by Editorial Juventud in hardcover (96 pages, in Catalan).
The story recounts the episode of Noah: the animals board a wooden ark while the rain soaks the landscape. The illustrations, with soft strokes and vivid colors, show giraffes, lions, crocodiles, and turtles coexisting on board, with small details that invite observation of each page.
The work was published in May 2016.
For early readers and for reading aloud; the illustrations accompany the narration and help the youngest follow the story.
Marianne Dubuc is a Canadian writer and illustrator of children's books living in Quebec.
