«Las fabulosas aventuras del Profesor Furia y Mr Cristal» is the young adult novel by César Mallorquí del Corral, published by edebé in paperback (272 pages, in Spanish).
A novel inspired by the Columbine High School massacre and dedicated to the victims of that horror. Rather than revealing the plot, the text challenges the reader about violence in schools, collective responsibility and the possibility of preventing something like that from happening again, appealing to each person's decision.
It belongs to number 12 of the Periscopio collection. A first version of the novel was published in 2004 as «La compañía de las moscas».
Aimed at readers over 14, interested in young adult fiction that invites reflection on school violence.
