In a remote valley wary of outsiders, Louise meets Chems, a newly arrived classmate who lives with his mother in a caravan and whom many see as an intruder because of his origins. Louise is drawn to that difference, which pits her against her father and her surroundings while Chems tries to prove that this place is also his home.
Originally published in 2009, «L'attrape-rêves» was nominated for the Prix Ados Rennes Ille-et-Vilaine in 2011.
A story for young readers about integration, prejudice and the relationship with a hostile rural environment.
