«L'auca de Junceda: Abans-d'ahir a Montserrat» is an illustrated book by Oriol Vergés i Mundó in paperback (120 pages, in Catalan).
Oriol Vergés i Mundó starts from the auca that Junceda drew in 1923, with the story of a family, and comments on it panel by panel with his childhood and teenage memories of Montserrat during the 1950s. The narration is warm with a touch of irony, and closes with the complete reproduction of the auca.
Volume 245 of the Vària collection (1st edition, 2010), with 53 illustrations.
For readers interested in Catalan culture, the history of Montserrat and the graphic work of the illustrator Junceda.
