«L'aventura de les flors» is a children's verse story by Txus Fernández Montolí, published by Barcanova in paperback (64 pages, in Catalan).
Told in verse, it recounts how some flowers, finding themselves in danger, organize to flee their garden. The gardenia calls them to a meeting to explain the situation. Fear overcomes some at first, but the wisdom of the carnation, the serenity of the begonia, the ideas of the tulip, and the leadership of the gardenia allow them to overcome all dangers.
It belongs to the Sopa de Llibres collection (Sèrie groga) and includes illustrations by Natalia Cardozo. Published in 2009.
Aimed at children aged 6 to 8, especially those beginning to read in Catalan.
