«L'avi de 100 anys que es va escapar per la finestra» is the humorous novel by Jonas Jonasson, published by La Campana in paperback (416 pages, in Catalan).
Allan Karlsson, a hundred-year-old man, escapes from the nursing home on his birthday and takes a suitcase full of money he was only supposed to watch over. From there, a madcap chase alternates with a review of his life: a peaceful man, an explosives expert and indifferent to power, who crosses paths with great figures of the 20th century.
First installment of the «The Hundred-Year-Old Man» series, translated by Lluís Solanes and winner of the Swedish booksellers' best book award.
