«Le singe et le léopard» is the children's fable by Alexandre Jardin and illustrated by Fred Multier, in hardcover from Hachette Jeunesse, 28 pages, in French.
«Le singe et le léopard» adapts the fable by Jean de La Fontaine. A conceited leopard only seeks the admiration of the other animals, but a small, cunning monkey full of ideas has his own plans. The story contrasts the leopard's vanity with the monkey's mischief.
