«L'enquesta del Canal 4» is the novel by Avel·lí Artís-Gener, published by Pòrtic - Grans Èxits in hardcover (382 pages, in Catalan).
Conceived as a vast journalistic inquiry, the narrative focuses on a small crowd of characters and on secondary, anecdotal episodes that serve as a portrait of the social substratum of its time. It is a satire whose alternative title could have been «El hombre y el leviatán».
Winner of the Premi Sant Jordi in 1972. Originally published in 1973, this Catalan edition dates from 1995.
Of interest to readers of Catalan fiction and to those who appreciate social satire with a journalistic background.
