«L'invent més gran del segle vint» is the young adult novel by Avel·lí Artís-Gener, published by Barcanova in paperback in 1984 (134 pages, in Catalan).

Oriol, a bright young man eager to improve his country, discovers a non-polluting and inexhaustible energy source called «l'esparver Zeta-Iota». His find threatens powerful economic interests and he ends up kidnapped; to escape his captors he can only rely on his wits.
