«Les aventures extraordinàries d'en Massagran» is the young adult adventure novel by Josep Maria Folch i Torres, published by Editorial Casals in paperback.
En Massagran is an antihero of Catalan young adult literature: naive and good-natured, he stars in exotic and funny escapades in faraway lands, with surprising situations and wordplay with the natives' speech. The book, written in 1910, satirizes adventure novels and became a popular classic of humor.
Work in Catalan of 304 pages, fourth volume of the Casals Jove collection, with illustrations by Joan Junceda.
For readers aged 12 and up who are starting out in young adult literature or want to discover a classic of humor and adventure in Catalan.
