«Les dues banderes (1843-1874)» is the historical novel by Oriol Vergés i Mundó, published by Publicacions de l'Abadia de Montserrat in paperback and in Catalan.

The novel is set in Catalonia in the mid-nineteenth century. From the inn and the Internacional café, Carlist conspiracies, federal republican aspirations and workers' ambitions are observed, while the adventure of Monturiol's two submarines, the Ictineus, runs through the plot.

It is part of the collection «Les Arrels, l'aventura i la història», number 16, and is the first edition, published in Barcelona in 1992 and illustrated by Tomeu Seguí.
