«Lili veut un téléphone portable» is the children's comic by Dominique de Saint Mars and Serge Bloch, published by Calligram in hardcover (46 pages, in French).
Lili wants a cell phone like her friend Valentine's, but her parents refuse because of the risks: radiation, bad company and money. Jealous and frustrated, she accuses Valentine of showing off and their friendship is in danger. The story addresses the usefulness and dangers of the cell phone and social pressure, and suggests reflecting, getting organized and enjoying those close by instead of communicating non-stop.
«Lili veut un téléphone portable» is No. 94 of Max et Lili, from the collection Así va la vida (Ainsi va la vie), published in 2010.
Aimed at children aged 6 to 9 and for parents and children to reflect on cell phone use, independence and digital limits.
