«Llibre dels somnis geografia fabulosa» is a mythological work by Joan Amades, published by Editorial Selecta in paperback (223 pages, in Catalan).
The volume delves into the symbolic imaginary of Catalonia: geographical myths, folklore, dreams, and customs intertwine to explain how the territory becomes charged with meaning. Joan Amades documents beliefs, traditions, and ways of life of Catalan society, building a kind of cultural map where landscape and memory merge.
It is volume 4 of the series 'El Tresor popular de Catalunya'; first edition from 1979, with bibliography on pages 95-103.
For readers interested in the folklore, mythology, and cultural heritage of Catalonia.

Joan Amades i Gelats was a Catalan ethnologist and folklorist. An autodidact, he worked at the historical archive of the city of Barcelona and at the Museum of Industry and Popular Arts of the same city. From 1956 onwards, he collaborated with UNESCO. He was also an important promoter of Esperanto and founded the Federació Esperantista Catalana. Perhaps the most important book in his large bibliography is Costumari Català, the main work for the study of Catalan popular culture.
