«Locos egregios» is a biographical essay by Spanish psychiatrist and writer Juan Antonio Vallejo-Nágera, published by Planeta in paperback (296 pages, in Spanish).
Vallejo-Nágera outlines the lives and works of very different personalities: some famous, viewed from a novel perspective, and others that have remained almost anonymous. The result is an original reading of essential figures of the past, halfway between historical biography and psychological portrait.
The work, published in 1989 in the Memoria de la Historia collection, has been translated into several languages and has had many reprints in Spanish.
For fans of popular history and biographies seeking a different look at famous and forgotten figures of the past.
