«Los gigantes de la luna» is the children's and young adult adventure novel by Gonzalo Moure Trenor, published by Edelvives in paperback (120 pages, in Spanish).
Pablo, a comfortable boy but closed in on himself, sees his summer change when his family takes in Naísma, a Sahrawi girl from the refugee camps. She tells him about life in her land and the secret of the giants of the moon, which is not the ship loaded with silver that Pablo imagined, but something much more valuable.
Volume 14 of the Ala Delta collection (green series), illustrated by Fernando Martín Godoy. First edition published in 2003.
Recommended for ages 10 and up, especially for readers who enjoy adventures and stories about distant realities and solidarity.
