«Los Radley» is the fantasy and dark humor novel by Matt Haig, published by Reservoir Books in hardcover (384 pages, in Spanish).
The Radleys are vampires trying to live a normal life in an English village: Peter, a family doctor; Helen, devoted to harmony; Rowan, a chronic insomniac; Clara, drawn to flesh. The return of Uncle Will, a vampire without remorse, destabilizes their balance and exposes their double life. Dark comedy about identity and family.
Originally published as The Radleys, translated by Roberto Falcó Miramontes in the Reservoir Narrativa collection. It received the ALA Alex Award and was nominated for the Carnegie Medal.
For those who enjoy dysfunctional families and seek an original take on the vampire myth, closer to comedy than horror.
Matt Haig is an English author and journalist. He has written both fiction and non-fiction books for children and adults, often in the speculative fiction genre.
