«Los retratos de Renato» is the children's story by María Luisa López Soria, published by Editorial Everest in paperback (60 pages, in Spanish).
In class, each child writes an essay about Renato and everyone sees him differently: one classmate says he burns houses by accident; a classmate says he wants to be a firefighter or a king. Renato himself and his teacher offer their version. The story shows how the same person can be viewed in many ways and raises how each person would describe themselves.
Part of the Leer es vivir collection. Includes illustrations by Katarzyna Rogowicz. Recommended reading age: 5 to 7 years.
For children aged 5 to 7, useful in the classroom for working on interpersonal relationships and different points of view.
