«L'ultima neve di primavera» is the novel by Blanca Busquets, published by Piemme in hardcover (249 pages, in Italian).
Two women separated by a century: Tònia, confined to her household chores and clandestine writing, and Lali, who finds refuge in reading from school bullying. A mysterious painting, papers saved from a fire, and a shared passion for words trace the bond that will help them find their place in the world.
The novel won the Premi Llibreter for narrative in 2011 and was originally published as «La nevada del cucut»; the Italian translation is by G. Tavani.
For readers of contemporary fiction seeking intimate stories about writing, memory, and female identity.
