Alexis Mac Coy, a former Confederate soldier, is rehabilitated after being taken prisoner and appointed sergeant major at Fort Apache, where he reunites with his friend Charley. Far from being an impulsive hero, Mac Coy prefers dialogue over blind obedience and shows his courage without giving up peace and quiet or a good bottle.
Sixteenth album in the Alexis Mac Coy series, written by Gourmelen and illustrated by Palacios. Published in 1991; the character's first adventures appeared in 1974 in Lucky Luke magazine.
For readers of classic western comics and fans of the Alexis Mac Coy series.
