«Madame Angeloso» is a novel by François Vallejo published in 2001 by Viviane Hamy in paperback (219 pages, in French).
Three people who knew Constance Angeloso recall her after her death: her son, a former guest of the hotel she ran in Dunkirk, and a cousin she took in. Their intersecting memories reconstruct the life of a woman who gave up everything to live in a car and died run over by the train carrying the Dalai Lama.
The work won the Prix Roman 2001 from France Télévision.
François Vallejo is a French professor of literature and a writer.
