Mala feminista

Synopsis of Mala feminista

«Mala feminista» is the essay collection on feminism and pop culture by Roxane Gay, published by Capitán Swing in paperback (328 pages, in Spanish).

Roxane Gay defines herself as a «mala feminista» to acknowledge that she does not meet the movement's ideal of perfection. Drawing on pop culture and her own life, she reflects with irony on abortion, motherhood, sexual harassment, and the contradictions of consuming what clashes with one's own principles.

First Spanish edition published on November 14, 2016, translated by Ana Momplet Chico. Entrelíneas collection.

For readers interested in feminism, gender studies, and personal essays.
