«Malaquias» is the illustrated children's story by Cristina Taquelim, published by Rhj in paperback (36 pages, in Portuguese).
The story contrasts the life of a powerful king, surrounded by servants, luxuries and palace affairs, with that of King Malaquias, who has none of that: only the sky, the moonlight and a book, just enough to dream. With illustrations by Jorge Pereira, the work proposes, with simplicity and a poetic tone, a reflection on what truly matters to be happy.
Work published in 2007, included in the categories of children's and young adult literature and literature and fiction.
Aimed at children and young adults, especially for those who appreciate illustrated stories with a poetic view of happiness.
