El Manuscrito encontrado en Zaragoza es una colección de cuentos dentro de un cuento, narrada a través de las experiencias de un oficial del ejército francés que viaja tras el sitio de Zaragoza. Originalmente publicado en San Petersburgo alrededor de 1804 por el escritor polaco Conde Jan Potocki, la obra fue parcialmente publicada en París en 1893. La versión francesa se publicó en polaco en 1847, con ediciones adicionales a lo largo del siglo siguiente. Esta edición sigue el texto de San Petersburgo y no incluye fragmentos nuevos. Los cuentos están llenos de ilusión y fantasía, con personajes que narran historias donde la realidad se difumina.
