«Máquinas de matar» is a satirical humor comic by Ivà, published by RBA Editores in 2010 (155 pages, in Spanish).
The comic tackles the mili, compulsory military service in Spain, through Ivà's acid humor. Caricatured soldiers, phrases like «todo por la patria» and the absurd daily life of the barracks become a satire of an era that marked millions of Spaniards.
Volume number 4 of the Historias de la puta mili collection, a humor series from the weekly El Jueves.
For fans of graphic humor and social satire, with an interest in Spanish popular culture and the memory of the mili.
