«Markel gelazikin» is a children's book by Leire Bilbao Barruetabeña and illustrated by Eider Eibar Zugazabeitia, published by Elkar in paperback (32 pages).
The story begins when Markel's mother scolds him for having a messy room and reminds him she had already asked him before. The boy responds to the telling-off and ends up picking up the broom to tidy up, in an everyday, dialogue-driven scene that shows the daily life of a child character with humor.
Text in Basque, published in 2008 within Elkar's Batela collection.
