«Melocotón en almíbar / Ninette y un señor de Murcia» is a theater volume by Miguel Mihura published by Espasa Calpe in paperback.
It brings together two comedies: in «Melocotón en almíbar», some robbers hide in an apartment and a meddlesome nun complicates the situation; in «Ninette y un señor de Murcia», Andrés, a man from Murcia in Paris, falls in love with Ninette, daughter of Spanish exiles. Humor and the female characters carry the weight of both works.
It belongs to the Austral Collection (number 277) and includes a prologue by Antonio Mingote; Spanish edition of 234 pages.
For readers interested in twentieth-century Spanish theater and comedy with a social background.
