«Mi amigo extraterrestre» is the illustrated children's story by Rocío Bonilla, published by Beascoa in hardcover (48 pages, in Spanish).
An alien boy arrives on exchange at Tomás's school and doesn't understand earthly customs like taking a classmate's sandwich or laughing at someone who plays with girls. His questions lead Tomás to reflect on his actions and silences and on whether things can change. Empathy, self-criticism and nonconformity guide the story.
Published in 2017, it is recommended for boys and girls aged 4 and up.
For young readers aged 4 to 5, it is useful for discussing bullying, empathy and independent thinking.
