«Mi primer Sopena» is an illustrated children's dictionary by various authors, published by Sopena Española in paperback (127 pages, in Spanish).
A reference work for early readers, it brings together over a thousand definitions with their grammatical features and seven hundred color illustrations. The cover shows three children leaning over an open book, and the interior alternates simple entries with thematic drawings, such as the letter «B» and a boat, so that children can associate words and images.
Originally published in 1967, it has had reprints recorded in 1975 and 1993; its content falls within the genre of children's dictionary and educational material.
Aimed at children in their early learning years, both to support school education and to introduce them to the use of dictionaries.
