«My Street» is a children's geography book by Rebecca Treays, published by Usborne Publishing Ltd in paperback (24 pages, in English).
The book introduces the reader to the life of a street and its surroundings, seen through the eyes of a girl, and presents basic notions of human and social geography. The flaps allow readers to discover sections of buildings and urban scenes with movement; the included fold-out maps help beginners learn to read maps.
It belongs to the Young Geography series and was chosen by the Children's Book Council as a Notable Children's Trade Book in the social studies category in 1999.
Recommended for children aged 3 to 8, especially for early primary school years, as an introduction to geography and the urban environment.
